Construction overview of my new home – Part 1





So I am having my first home built and I have been taking video along the way. I decided to share the experience as it progresses here for anyone who may be thinking about building a home. It shows most of the milestones as the home starts to take shape. Enjoy! Be sure to check out Part 2!

2006 Home Builder’s Blitz Timelapse Video





In June of 2006, Colorado home builders partnered with Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver to build 15 homes in seven days in Aurora, Colorado. Hundreds of volunteers worked to build these special homes together with the future Habitat homeowners. The Home Builders Blitz was part of a nationwide event where home builders and Habitat affiliates across the country set a new milestone in the history of affordable housing by building 435 houses in one week!

I’ve asked this before. Could someone please provide an answer? I know it varies from place to place, but an average percentage would be very helpful.
