If you are looking for a guide that will show you how to build a homemade wind generator, here is the most complete guide you will find. I’ve tried other plans that show you how to build home wind turbines, but they don’t offer nearly as much as this guide. You can learn to build turbines for as little at 0 or so that would cost over 0 for the same amount of power production if you bought it in stores or ordered a commercial generator over the Internet. Generators don’t take much maintenance once they are set up. These generators are well-engineered to take powerful winds and to produce a lot of power from them. It is the easiest way I know to build homemade wind turbines that will be inexpensive while also producing a lot of power. “www.WindEnergyGuide.net – A growing trend among homeowners that is growing fast is moving towards renewable wind energy. Learning how to build wind turbines is a growing trend that does seem to be going away anytime soon. The wind that blows by our home every day and night could be the very thing that drastically lowers our monthly energy bills. Homeowners are learning the simplicity of building a wind turbine that is both affordable and something they can build themselves. As many continue to see monthly bills going up several homeowners are taking energy matters into their own hands. How To Build a Wind Turbine #1 – The Parts There are four basic parts that go into the design of a self made wind turbine. The four basic parts involved are the turbines, the batteries, the towers, an the tail also called the propeller. These four simple parts are all put together with simple tools. To put your wind turbine together you will simply need three parts a wrench, a drill, and a saw. Those are all the tools needed to assemble the turbine together. *** cusd.cornell.edu *** This video demonstrates the construction of a Home Theater Computer. It was built by myself and other members of Cornell University’s Solar Decathlon Engineering Controls Team. The computer utilizes a Core 2 Duo Processor at 3.0 GHz, a 128GB Solid-State Hard Drive, and a GeForce 9300 GPU included in its Nvidia 730i chipset. It will be served media content from a home server. This computer was built with the following design goals in mind: EFFICIENT POWER USAGE: Accomplished by using a low wattage CPU, A Solid State Hard Drive, an 80+ Certified PSU, and a motherboard with energy saving features. EXTREMELY QUIET: Utilizes a Solid State Drive to eliminate hard drive vibrations, 2 silent 120mm fans, and an efficient case structure. HD EXPERIENCE: Integrated GPU provides HDMI HDCP-enabled video output at full HD resolution, while reducing heat and power consumption because of the lack of video card, Gigibit Ethernet enables streaming of content from the house’s multimedia home server, 3GHz CPU provides ample headroom for video decoding. This HTPC will be used in Cornell University’s Solar Decathlon competition in October 2009.
