Early this Spring, nine-year-old Anaiah Rucker pushed her little sister Camry out of the path of an oncoming truck while walking to school. But Anaiah was hit instead, losing a leg and a kidney. Extreme Makeover Home Edition heard the story and came to Madison, GA on July 10, 2011 to surprise Anaiah Rucker and her family with the news that she would be getting a new home. Pilot Builders and Smart Properties joined forces and led the incredible build team. Hundreds of volunteers, local businesses and builders pitched in around the clock on this amazing project, in temperatures that reached into the 100′s. Anaiah got to see her beautiful new home a mere 7 days later. We, at Coldwell Banker Lake Oconee Realty, were proud to be Platinum Sponsors of the Build.
