Extreme Makeover: Home Edition took a trip to Davidson County, North Carolina to drop in on the Creasey Family. Tricia Creasey, a 7th Grade Teacher, was diagnosed with cancer and home repairs have been put on hold due to chemotherapy. Country Music Star Jewel joined the EMHE Team for this remodel. Volunteered for A Week…Touched for a Lifetime! Hear from our crew about their experience on the Extreme Makeover Home Edition show. The Brian Keefer episode is set to air on Oct. 21st and will be a 2 hour episode. Don’t miss it and tell us what you think! Brian Keefer, a star athlete, became paralyzed in a gymnastics accident in 2008. As he completed his sophomore year at Lock Haven University, Brian was an all-around college athlete, volleyball player and coach, a record-holding track and field athlete, and president of his college’s gymnastics club. Then on July 1, 2008, 12 days before his 21st birthday, Brian suffered a gymnastics injury, paralyzing him from his neck down. With the injury, Brian needed 24-hour care. SimplyHome is passionate about this product and about the technology we provide to allow Brian to be as independent as possible and to allow his father to have some peace of mind. I had the opportunity to work with a group of talented and just damn nice guys and gals on the Extreme Makeover Home Edition’s Joplin Missouri built episode # 200. What a great experience it was! The people of Joplin are some of the nicest I have personally met. I will return to Joplin soon. It was too much fun.

The EMHE Team is joined by Michael Oher and Leigh Anne & Sean Tuohy (made famous from the movie “The Blind Side”). The new kitchen features faux Pecky Cypress beams and the Hayloft Room, for daughter Josie, makes use of faux timber beams and Rustic Barn Wood faux panels from FauxPanels.com.
