The Browns suffered the loss of their teenage daughter, Alex, who died in a texting-while-driving accident. Her parents Jeanne and Johnny Mac, and her 12-year-old sister, Katrina, have not made it their mission to prevent others from getting into similar accidents. Bieber performs on the show and along with other celebrity volunteers like Emma Roberts, and NASCAR racers Carl Edwards and Greg Biffle, all sign the BUST (Buckle Up and Stop Texting) pledge in the show, vowing not to text while driving. Bieber gave Katrina a shout out on Twitter recently, saying, “Nope i didnt forget about u.
